Our Story

Evergreen Daycare began with one woman's heart for children who needed it most. Our owner’s wife didn't have an easy upbringing herself, and that experience gave her a deep love for children facing hard circumstances. For years, her dream was to open an orphanage, a place where kids without a stable home could feel safe and cared for.


As our owner, Daniel, began researching what that would take, it became clear that an orphanage carried a level of responsibility beyond what they could take on. But the heart behind the dream never changed. That same love for children, especially those from families who are struggling, is what led them to open Evergreen Daycare instead.


Today, Evergreen exists because of that same conviction: every child deserves a safe, loving place to grow, no matter what their family is going through. We're proud to serve so many hardworking families right here in Kansas City, Kansas, and we don't take that trust lightly.

At Evergreen Daycare Center, we believe in providing a nurturing and engaging environment where each child is seen as a unique creation of God, with their own gifts and potential. Our philosophy values the importance of play, independence, and personalized learning, all rooted in love and respect. We aim to support the whole child - academically, socially, and spiritually - as they grow in both confidence and character.
